Lambeth is home to over 78 public parks, commons, and other open spaces, which including Vauxhall Park which is directly opposite Keybridge, Archbishops Park, Larkhall Park, Kennington Park, Cleaver Square and Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens, — all within easy walking distance, offering playgrounds, sports fields, riverside trails and community gardens

  • Vauxhall Park is a peaceful, leafy retreat with colorful flower beds and meandering paths, a multi-use games area with basketball hoops and tennis courts, a children’s playground and a cafe
  • Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens has year-round activity.  The park has a playground, basketball court and is home to the London Pétanque Club that plays boules every Wednesday and Saturday. Summer events include outdoor cinema and karaoke.  There is a selection of eateries around the gardens, which include the Tea House theatre, the Black dog pub and cafes along the arches
  • Vauxhall City Farm - is an urban farm set in 1.5 acres which includes animals and gardens and offers a range of educational, horticultural and recreational workshops, volunteering, guided tours, and a cafe called The Old Dairy.

    • The National Rail trains serve Waterloo and Clapham Junction in 5 minutes, with connections to places such as Barnes, Putney, Richmond, Windsor, Twickenham and Hampton Court

Excellent bus coverage via routes 77, 87, 87, 87, 88, 344, 360, N87 - serve local stops such as Wheatsheaf Lane, Nine Elms, Vauxhall Bus Station, Tyers Street, and Lambeth Palace

River Boat

Lambeth Pier (St George’s Wharf) and Westminster Pier are within an 8–11 min walk - Thames Clipper routes operate between Putney to Barking Riverside.
